Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered into a third-party search tool is sent to that provider to process. The provider’s own privacy terms govern its handling of the query and results. This resource does not maintain a court-docket database or use those queries to create personal case profiles.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to the resource may be retained long enough to respond, maintain the communication, or meet a legal obligation. It is not shared outside the organization except when required by law or necessary to provide the requested response.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, ordinary server and analytics logs can receive technical details such as:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small browser files that can help measure aggregate traffic and page performance. Browser controls may block or limit them. Some features can behave differently when cookies are disabled. Analytics information is used in aggregate rather than as a court-record search profile.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and communication data may support operation, security, performance review, referral of a query to its selected provider, response to messages, and advertising delivery. It is not used to assemble a Choctaw County court-docket report about another person.
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of Choctaw County court dockets or personal case records. It describes official routes through Circuit, Chancery, Justice Court, municipal clerks, and MEC/PAMEC. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or records about third parties. Mississippi court access follows court rules and the MEC procedures; the judiciary is not subject to the Mississippi Public Records Act in the same way as an executive agency.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power any search box shown on a content page. Information entered there is handled under the provider’s privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. Review those terms before submitting a query because this resource does not control the provider’s systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links to a clerk, court, MEC/PAMEC, Justice Court vendor, municipality, or other outside resource open a separate service. The privacy practices of that service govern after departure. Review them before giving that service personal information.
Advertising or analytics providers may use their own technologies under their own policies. Their cross-service activity, if any, occurs in their systems rather than in an official Choctaw County court file.
Who Might See Your Data
This resource does not sell personal data. Limited information may be received by:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used for information within this resource’s control. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so visitors should avoid sending sensitive case details through an ordinary contact channel.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. Contact the resource if a minor may have provided information so the issue can be reviewed and addressed.
Your Data Rights
Depending on location and applicable law, a visitor may have rights to ask about personal information held in a communication or operational record. Mississippi court-record access is instead governed by the court’s rules and the MEC procedures, with Mississippi Public Records Act provisions providing limited public-record context rather than a universal court-file rule. A visitor may request to:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised as operations or legal requirements change. A revised version will be posted here with its effective date.
